Introducing the Shimano Ultegra XTD Reel a high performance, stylish and incredibly powerful option ideal for the avid carp angler taking on the biggest of fish.

Made from Shimano’s high quality XT 7 body material creating an incredibly robust and reliable reel body with an aesthetically pleasing matte black finish.

With an ARC spool design creating less friction as the line leaves the spool and also creating smaller line coils for longer more precise casts. This design also helps to reduce backlash and wind knots when suing braided lines.

Featuring X-ship technology which transfers more power from the rotor to the handle helping you to tame those larger fish with ease. The Parallel body design enables the angler to cast further by reducing the line touching the rod when making a cast.

Fitted with S ARB bearings which are highly corrosion resistant and have an extra layer of protection against salt, sand and dust. The Aero Wrap II technology offers exceptional line lay helping to reduce loss of energy during the cast resulting in further distance.

With a Slow spool oscillation allowing for more line wraps per cycle resulting in a higher pick up rate. With an Instant drag system enabling the angler to go from freespool to max tension with just a few turns of the drag knob.
