The classic Vic Bellars Partridge Back-to-Back Pike Double Hook (otherwise known as the Partridge CS1ST Double) has now been replaced by the brand new Partridge Ryder Double Pike Hook (CS1RY). This is the first time for years that a specialist Pike hook has been introduced into the market, and reflects what the modern Pike angler requires. This unique pattern is perfect for ‘instant strike’ rigs for either the Pike or Zander specialist , and are normally used in tandem, or alternatively, above a treble hook. The main difference with this hook is that the two points of the double are at 90 degrees with one another, rather than being horizontally opposed. The other two big differences are that this is a bronze hook, and also that it has been formed out of one piece of wire. This not only gives the hook great strength, but also keeps manufacturing costs down, giving the angler better value for money.
