The Savage Gear 4D LT Roach is a realistic swimbait that perfectly imitates a roach, a key prey species for pike and other predatory fish. The lure was developed based on a detailed 4D scan of a real roach, resulting in incredibly lifelike shape, colours, and swimming action.
The well-known Line Thru system ensures that the line runs through the body of the lure. When a bite occurs, the lure can slide up the line, giving the fish less leverage and reducing the chance of it slipping.
The high body and flexible construction give the lure a powerful S-curve swimming action with enticing sideways movements during retrieval or during a short pause. The Sinking version sinks faster than the slow-sinking version and therefore runs deeper, while displacing a lot of water and attracting extra attention from large predators.
This makes the swimbait very suitable for fishing for pike along slopes, deeper zones and structures.
