Greys Platinum X Floating Flyline

The Greys Platinum X fly line range offers a range of models to get your fly into the hot zone time and time again. Standard floating lines are designed in a three tone format with a medium length head and a full size heavy design allowing all anglers to take full advantage of modern fast action fly rods whilst retaining sensitivity. The smooth supple coating has low memory, excellent handling and a low line diameter. Also available as a 'midge tip' with a slightly sinking tip, ideal for nymph fishing and for fishing below the surface using the 'washing line' tactic. All sinking models in the Platinum X fly line range are two tone with a medium density running line and an aggressive full length Heavy Distance Casting Taper, ideal for boat and bank fishing tactics. A unique Twin Taper WF line is also available for the technical river angler. It features a fine extended 9g WF profile that can be flipped over and used as a flat Euro nymph line, complete with a mono indicator core and built in micro ring.
