Change of Mind/ Unwanted Goods?
Any unwanted goods that have been purchased within 30 days of receipt, can be returned. These must be returned in their original packaging with tags. In the case of clothing if an item has been worn then we cannot accept a return. Items can be returned for a refund or an exchange.
If you are returning goods via post, please obtain proof of the postage so you have evidence they have been posted. We also advise using a service with appropriate levels of compensation if required – We have outlined different levels of comp below in Guidance & Notes.
Please ensure to enclose a cover letter in your returned parcel including your name, billing address and order number. Failure to enclose any identifying information may result in delays when replacing or refunding your item(s).
A cover note template is available for you to download here please click on the link and save the PDF. Once saved print it out and fill in the necessary information to enclose with your returned package.
All unwanted items must be returned to us at your own expense.
What if my item is faulty or damaged?
All products carry at least a 12 month manufacturer’s warranty against faults and defects under reasonable operating conditions. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. If you feel that your purchase has a fault, or is defective, then please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org before returning any goods – we need to know if items are coming back to us to speed up the process, and we may be able to help without incurring extra postage.
Any damaged or incorrect orders must be reported within 5 calendar days. If it is deemed that damage to an order was caused in transit or the wrong item was sent, then we will be sure to resolve any issues without incurring extra cost to you the customer.
All items bought our bought at buyers responsibility, if an issue arises due to customer error, Procastangling will not issue any refunds or warranties. If an item develops a fault that is covered by warranty, we can only offer a credit note in the instance that a customer requests a refund in place of a replacement product.
Please be aware that advice given by staff members regarding sizes and fitting of items is their personal opinion based off the guides provided by suppliers. We will measure and give advice to the best of our knowledge but the final decision is yours; meaning if the item does not fit as expected then you will still be responsible for return and exchange costs. Original postage will also be non-refundable as this does not qualify as an incorrect or faulty item.
When returning any items please be sure to include a cover note referencing your:
- Order Number
- Reason for Return
- Requested Action
When returning items please be sure to wrap them securely and acquire proof of postage so you have evidence they have been posted.
- Refunds do not include original postage or return postage if the goods are not damaged or faulty.
- Please ensure that line is removed from all reels as they will not be replaced/returned
- For your own security be sure to use a suitable service for the value of the item being returned, we cannot be held responsible for packages lost or damaged in the post when being returned to us. If a return suffers loss or damage we will not refund the cost of the order and it will be up to the customer to claim the cost from their chosen postal provider.
- Royal Mail 1st and 2nd class compensate up to £20
- Royal Mail Signed For compensates up to £50
- Royal Mail Tracked 24 and 48 compensate up to £100 (available on Royal Mail website only)
- Royal Mail Special Delivery compensates up to £500 (with optional extra comp)
- Parcelforce 24 and 48 compensate up to £100 (with optional extra comp)
- You can use any other postal service you choose, just let us know who to expect!
Procastangling will not be held liable for Consequential Loss or damages. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
We are not obliged to accept returns of gift cards, books, unsealed audio or video recordings (DVD's) and fresh/freezer bait.
Please do not return goods wet as these will be returned.
Any items that have developed a fault and have been purchased within a 12 month period can be returned for either repair or replacement under warranty.
Procastangling reserve the right to return any faulty goods to the manufacturer before exchanging or refunding where necessary.
If the manufacturer deems the fault not to be that of the product, Procastangling reserve the right not to issue an exchange or refund.
Please be aware that it is entirely in the hands of the manufacturer when it comes to warranty terms and conditions. We will always work as hard as we can to ensure that the outcome is the one that you, as our customer, is entirely satisfied with but ultimately it is up to them.
Please allow approximately 10 - 14 working days for the entire returns/repair/replacement procedure to be completed. Customers are liable for the cost of the return and the cost of postage for the repaired/replaced item.
In the unlikely event that we have not resolved an issue to a satisfactory outcome, or if you wish to raise a general complaint or dispute, then please email us at email@example.com, quoting your name and order number along with a description of the problem. You can also do this via the Contact Us section which can be found by clicking the link and filling out the online form. One of our team will look into it and be sure to get back to you within 48 hours.
