Coronavirus (Covid-19) Update
Due to the ongoing Coronavirus Pandemic, whilst most deliveries are going smoothly, we are still unfortunately experiencing some delays on occasion. This mostly affects orders sent on non and partially tracked services.
E.g. Royal Mail Signed For is a delivery confirmation only service, meaning there are no updates until a delivery is attempted.
In these instances we can only ask that customers give the post a bit more time. We have stuck with a policy throughout of not asking anyone to wait beyond 10 working days (incl Sat.). We have found most late deliveries have turned up within this timeframe. If it has been longer than this then please don’t hesitate to contact us for help and we will look into it for you and rest assured that any issues will be dealt with.
How Our Delivery Works
Orders dispatched via Royal Mail will generally take 2-4 working days and are sent via 1st class postage.
Orders dispatched via courier (except Parcelforce which is 2-3 days); will generally take 3-5 working days and are fully tracked. Full tracking details will be provided along with the dispatch confirmation email.
Orders can be tracked on the carrier’s website using the number provided in the dispatch email. Please note that your tracking number may not be live in the couriers system straight away and may not show any tracking updates until later that evening. Any orders that were placed over the weekend will not be collected by our couriers until Monday evening.
We may mark an item as dispatched during Bank Holidays, but as the postal collections are usually off, these will leave us the next working day.
You can also check the status of your order any time on Procastangling.com. As a logged in customer, click "My Account" link in the dropdown arrow beside the sign out button. This will bring you to your account summary where you can select “My Orders” from the sidebar at the left of the screen* Select the order you want to check and click on it in the list available to check further details. Please note *Layout will be slightly different on Mobile or Tablet devices.
We will always do our best to ensure delivery is as convenient as possible for our customers so if you have any queries or you need support regarding the delivery of your order; please contact our team at email@example.com. Please include your name, order number and a brief explanation of the issue and we can look into it.
If you have missed delivery we can always work with you and attempt re-delivery, although this will incur the cost of postage for the item(s), including orders that originally qualified for free shipping. If you instead request a refund on the order your credit / debit card may be debited the cost of delivery back to Procastangling.
All items are normally delivered within the given timeframes, but this is not guaranteed and whilst we always endeavour to meet the promised deadline, there are unfortunately times when the couriers will let us down. On the rare occasion that this does happen, we cannot be held responsible for late delivery because this is unfortunately out of our control.
We rely on couriers in good faith to deliver within the promised timeframe and if you are having problems with delivery, then please don’t hesitate to contact our team at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will work with the courier to ensure any issues are rectified.
Procastangling will not refund any shipping costs if the courier fails to deliver the item(s) on the expected delivery date.

Frozen Bait Delivery
Frozen baits can only be posted to UK & Ireland. We are unable to send bait in refrigerated condition and will be sent in sealed airtight and watertight packaging.
We dispatch frozen baits on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday; any frozen baits orders received after 2pm Wednesday will not be posted until the following Monday. This is to avoid parcels getting held up in transit due to weekends.
The bait is frozen when it leaves us and we wrap it in bubble wrap and double bag it to insulate it. However, depending on the transit conditions, and certainly if delivery is delayed, the bait may be defrosted on arrival.
In many cases, bait is produced frozen to remove the need for preservatives. This means that if the bait is allowed to defrost over a few days, for example, if transit is delayed, it may be in an unusable state by the time it reaches you. However, most baits are useable once defrosted for up to 5 days.
Please note that due to the above factors we are unable to accept responsibility for the condition and usability of frozen bait. Procastangling will not provide reimbursement if you are unhappy with the condition of the bait on arrival.
We dispatch all frozen bait using as quickly as possible from day of order. This does not necessarily mean that an order for frozen bait will arrive the day after it is placed, but we will use our courier to get it from our freezer to you as quickly as possible.
When we dispatch depends on the time of order. Please note that we do not dispatch orders containing frozen bait from Thursday-Sunday.
