A great introduction to a casting rod. A casting rod is solely designed to be used in conjunction with a baitcaster or multiplier reel. The whole rod arrangement is a completely different set up to a spinning rod. The reel sits on the top of the rod, while a trigger grip is integrated into the reel seat to provide a more ergonomic and comfortable design.
The Abu Garcia Vendetta is a great affordable casting rod that offers a powerful yet lightweight and sensitive blank. The Vendetta range is ideal for crankbaits, jerkbaits and soft plastic lures.
Not only is the Vendetta a cosmetically stunning looking rod with its matt black blank finish and red accents throughout but it also has the backbone to reflect its good looks.
Infused with Abu’s 30-ton graphite and Intracarbon technology that creates a multidirectional carbon fibre design. Forges a lightweight and powerful blank that allows you to make hard and positive hooksets and allows you to bully fish from dense vegetation or other obstructive snags with ease.
The EVA foam handle provides a low maintenance and durable grip that repels water extremely well, which maximises hand grip and eliminates hand fatigue from casting all day.
The skeletal reel seat improves and enhances the rod blanks sensitivity and allows you to feel the subtlest of takes thanks to the Vendettas blank contact design that the skeletal reel seat offers. This unique design also allows you to keep in contact with your lure at all times, meaning you have better overall control of your lures.
The trigger grip is slender and provides an exceptional amount of comfort when in use.
The rod is fully dressed in tough stainless steel guides with Zirconium inserts which keeps that braided mainline flowing effortlessly.
